We may be a week behind on this, but our staff finally got out to the theaters to see, and yes, we drank during it. If we could embed an entire feature film and distribute 3D glasses via email, we would. Instead you're just gonna have to take our word for it and go see it yourselves. We know that basketball players and fans alike share our passion for ridiculously amazing dance moves. If you don't believe it's worth your time and money, well then just watch this:
Make sure and smuggle in a frosty can or two of your favorite malt liquor, and DRINK ANYTIME...
- The term "B-FAB" is used.
- You get pangs of jealously for a pair of sneakers on screen.
- Something happens that reminds you exactly of an experience you've had in New York City.
- Something happens that is nothing like anything that has ever happened in New York City.
- The Santiago Twins appear wearing the same outfit.
- Five minutes go by without any dancing.
- There are way more than the required number of devices used to perform a task (a hundred boom boxes as speakers, ten imacs to edit film, etc)
- You really enjoy the dancing in Step Up 3D, but really wish somebody would teach them how to Dougie.
- A character emphasizes, for the ten-thousandth time, that dance can change things.
- Captain Luke flexes his jaw in a close up.
- A character refers to the "House of Pirates" and you giggle and thinking, "House of Butt-Pirates"
- You dodge an oncoming slurpee bubble.
- Faux-Paul-Walker bad guy, Julian, lowers his chin and glowers in response to a "serving." Drink twice if Captain Luke smirks in response.
- You realize this is likely LeBron James' favorite movie.
Take a shot Anytime...
- Characters parkour magically over the East River.
- You forget that you're watching a movie and think you're really watching these kids battle right in front of your very eyes.
