Fantasy Voyage: So it Begins

If you hadn't already guessed it, we here at No Regard are pretty heavy into fantasy basketball. Throughout the season, we'll take the occasional moment to ignore real-life NBA implications and take a look at things from an IFL (In Fantasy Life) perspective.

For this first edition of Fantasy Voyage, we'd like to throw a question out there: Should Kevin Durant be the unanimous #1 pick going into this season? We're pretty positive he's got the scoring title on lock, but do LeBron's new surrounding weapons make him an even more dangerous fantasy option? What about CP3 and Kobe?

If you are fortunate enough to get that top spot, what are you doing?

  1. KD all the way. Also, double rainbow all the way.

  2. Rondo. He's going to be a triple-double machine.

  3. Adam - Is this column your attempt to gain an advantage in our league? Posing questions without answering them yourself? I'm not falling for it.

    Pete - Stop.

  4. You know what I would do with that number 1, Andrew.

    Ryan Gomes, Waterbury, Connecticut's finest!

  5. Gomes is from Waterbury?! What High School?

  6. Wilby, baby!

i.e., the team that beat my own Watertown High School by at least 20 every time!

  7. Matt Campbell is from Waterbury. But he's just a pervert. Doesn't play basketball.

  8. I think I'm going first. I've been working on my layup a lot.

  9. I'm basing my picks on the epicness of Tweets.

Number one pick is Shaq, then Lou Williams, Chris Dougey-Roberts, and finally, Muggsy Bogues. KD is fifth pick, maybe.

I'm definitely going to win again.
