No Regard Previews: A New Show On Broadway

One Game We Will Definitely Watch Tonight:
New York Knicks vs. Milwaukee Bucks

The scene is going to be wild tonight during the first game of the Melo Era in Madison Sqaure Garden. After almost a decade of terrible decisions, and pathetic basketball teams, New York Knick nation has a right to be ridiculously excited. And who better to take over the Big Apple than one of its own, Carmelo Anthony? This evening's game marks the start of something special for both New York City and the NBA. Seriously.

For starters, the Knicks-Heat rivalry is about to take off in a big way. Maybe not this year, but when Chris Paul is sporting blue and orange, it's going to be epic.

And with the Nets landing a straight-up original gangster and top-three point guard in Deron Williams, it's safe to assume that the Hudson/East River rivalry is going to have significance as well. Expect the Nets to land another big star before moving to Brooklyn, in the nicest arena in the world, mind you, and lighting the Mecca on fire.

As for the actual game tonight: Blowout victory for the Knicks, unforgettable atmosphere and 25-plus points from Melo. The NBA analysts are understating how good this new-look Knickerbockers side is about to be. The most common argument against them competing with the Celtics and the Heat is that Melo and Amar'e are not big on defense. Nonsense. Watch Melo elevate his game to another level. A large aspect of being a great defender is effort and he's too excited to be playing in the Garden to slack. The stars will be out tonight at MSG and for the first time in years, they won't just be in the stands.

One Game We Won't Be Watching:
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Houston Rockets

There are other games tonight?
