ReplyDeleteSpeaking of soccer, I'd love to share with you some amazing tidbits from yesterday's North Korea game:
-There were a couple 100 North Korean fans dressed in identical garb at the game yesterday. Suspiciously, they looked completely fake. Upon further review, it was determined that they were handpicked "actors" who were allowed to represent the North Korean fan base. They had a "conductor" with them whose job it was to conduct their reactions to various moments in the game. They didn't talk to each other. One of them held out a beer in his hand the entire game.
-A North Korean player tried to speak to a reporter after the game and was dragged away from the mic by his teammates.
-They are not broadcasting the World Cup games in North Korea unless the North Koreans have a favorable result.
And you thought vuvuzuelas were bad!
