Bibby's World: I Made It

Don't know how we locked this down, but we'd like to introduce you to No Regard's newest blogging sensation... Mike Bibby! He'll be checking in whenever he can, just to remind us: It's Bibby's World, we just live in it!

I did it. I made it. I won. I won all the prizes. The Miami Heat read my letter to them and have signed me as their starting PG!!! By this time next year, I'm going to have a big, fat ring on my finger. But that's not even the best part. The best part is that I get to coast to the championship with my new best friends, Dwyane LeBosh (That's what I call them. They think it's awesome.).

So what have I done in Miami so far?

1) Went swimming with D. LeBosh. We had some great chicken fights. I was on LeBron's shoulders, obviously, though we tried it the other way around, and I almost broke my spine.

2) The Four, as the media has been known to call us, went out to a club. Dwyane bought me an apple juice, because I don't drink.

3) I looked for a condo. Considering that I signed a 12-year contract for $1, I had to look for a place a bit further away. I'm currently staying in a converted van-motel off of I-98 in a nice town called Pahokee. I have a great view of water.

4) I practiced shooting threes for half-an hour.

5) I sold a signed pair of boxer shorts to a kid on a tricycle for half of his Lunchables Pizza.

6) I spent an entire night talking to Andray Blatche on the phone. I know I was only in Washington for a few days, but he and I really hit it off, and I think we're going to try and stay close. We have literally the exact same taste in books.

7) I played my first game against Orlando and hit a THREEEEEE! We lost, but it was still a really fun game. And when I'm not in the game, I've got courtside seats to watch the best players in the league, who are also my friends. Did someone say 'Awesome deal'?

8) I hear THIS song for the first time, and it instantly becomes my new favorite song to listen to when I bike to work:

After the game, I went home and watched the whole game again on DVR. Watching me, Mike Bibby, on the court with the likes of Dwyane LeBosh is completely surreal. I can safely say that I have everything that I've ever wanted. It's the dream I've been having for the past two million years. And every morning when I wake up in my bed, which doubles as the door to my oven, I look around and am immediately reminded that my dream... has come true.

Bibby Out!
